TIGER CUB ROUND-UP:
Boys in grades Kingergarten and First are eligible to participate in TIGER CUB Cub Scout activities and may join year-round.
Current Kindergarten boys may participate as "guests" or "visitors". Kindergarten boys' applications should be dated for June 8. Come June 8, their registration forms will be submitted to the Scout Office and they will officially become Tiger Cubs.
Current First grade boys may register now and become Tiger Cubs immediately.
Registration is $16; however no boy will be denied a quality Scouting experience for financial reasons. Scholarships are available to cover the cost of registration.
A full summer of Tiger Cub activities is planned: (June) Real tiger cubs on display at Potter Park Zoo; (July) East Lansing Aquatic Center - pavilion, pinata, and Popsicles; and (August) Overnight campout on the Lugnuts' baseball field - bring a tent, snacks & Scouting spirit!
Registration is ongoing and there is still time to join Pack 9's Tiger Cub program. Please help us by spreading the word to any prospective Kindergarten or First Grade families in the Greater Lansing Area.
Come see us at the 2012 Waverly Walk & Win event on Saturday, May 12 at Waverly High School Track.

WOLVES, BEARS & WEBELOS:
Pack 9 is also registering Second Grade Wolves, Third Grade Bears, and Fourth & Fifth Grade Webelos.
Wolves and Bears will work together in den meeting settings and go on day-trips (field trips) to places of interest for boys.
Webelos Scouts will also have weekly den meetings but will also be working directly with Troop 9 Boy Scouts and go camping.
If you know a boy who could benefit from the many qualities of Scouting, then please share this information with his parents.
Our goal is to register as many boys as possible before the school year ends. Wolves, Bears & Webelos may attend and participate in any of the June, July or August activities.
WEBELOS SCOUTS (Fourth & Fifth Grade Boys):
Boy Scout Troop 9 invites you to travel with us to the Grand Traverse Area on July 19-22 (Thursday-Sunday) this summer. We will be staying in a luxurious 4 bedroom cottage at Traverse City State Park with plenty of space for tenting in the backyard and all the conveniences of home (flush toilets, showers, etc.). The boys will climb and hike Sleeping Bear Sand Dunes, canoe and swim, bike along trails, and enjoy top-notch food at all meals.
